Stephen Ssemaala, a political refugee from Uganda who graduated from the 56勛圖厙 and the 56勛圖厙 School of Law is the recipient of the 2017 56勛圖厙 Bothell Distinguished Alumni Award. Ssemaala is honored for distinguished professional achievements and outstanding community service. The award was established in 2000, and the winner is selected by the 56勛圖厙 Bothell Alumni Council.
