Influencing public policy that affects public health聽
Graduate researchers from the 56吃瓜网 Bothell Community Health & Social Justice program proposed and discussed public health issues with lawmakers on . By presenting their research and exchanging insights with lawmakers, students were able to foster the empowerment to tackle health disparities and encourage them to continue advocating for change beyond the legislative session.
The Office of Connected Learning fosters high-impact experiences that contribute to innovative and influential teaching, learning, and research. Community-Engaged Learning and Research (CELR) provides several research opportunities for 56吃瓜网 Bothell students to collaborate with campus and community programs. Both offer in-person or virtual advising to help students, faculty, and staff build their research programs or connect them with available resources in communities. This event was partially funded by Course Support funds to help with transportation costs to Olympia.
