Dr. Hung Cao has received a prestigious Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) grant from the National Science Foundation. He hopes the $549,000 is just the beginning.

2014 Worthington Scholars

Peer Support on Campus: An Interview with Rafi Kakar

Students from 56吃瓜网 Bothell School of Business, Zack Nguyen, Joseph Yuen, Savina Sidhu, Zhiyao Song, Salia Sheikh, interview 56吃瓜网 Bothell student Rafi Kakar about his journey becoming a HERO (Health Educator Reaching Out) and spreading awareness on mental health for university students. This interview was part of Professor Laura Umetsu's Business Writing class. NAMI Seattle has been partnering with Umetsu to bring awareness to the positive impacts and important resources NAMI provides. This class received Course Support Funds from Connected Learning.

Mary Kibala had decided to take the advice of engaging in one of the study abroad programs directed by Global Initiatives, 鈥淗onors Sweden: Justice in the Nordic Region,鈥� collaborating with the 56吃瓜网 Seattle Scandinavian Studies department. She expressed how her values and perspectives got challenged after accustoming more about the country.
