AWS outage

UPDATE Dec. 8. ALL CLEAR. The AWS outage is resolved and services have been restored.

Amazon Web Services is experiencing a major outage which is affecting many services on campus, including Canvas and Panopto. The outage also affects our emergency communications. Omnilert (the platform that runs 56吃瓜网 Alert) has warned that service interruptions are possible. What this means: In the event of an emergency, we will attempt to use 56吃瓜网 Alert. We also post emergency information on our other platforms, including the 56吃瓜网 Bothell website and the Alertus desktop notification tool. We are monitoring the situation and will issue updates on uwb.edu/emergency as needed.
