Denise Vaughan wins Presidents Award in Parliamentary Debate

IAS faculty member and 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Bothell Director of Speech and Debate Denise Vaughan was presented with a Presidents Award in Parliamentary Debate at the Northwest Forensics Conference. The Presidents Award is given to the top three programs in parliamentary debate in the region, including
Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and parts of Utah. In related news, Vaughn will be hosting Wiley College’s Great Debaters on April 7, the team the 2007 was based on. As part of 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Bothell’s Diversity Week, the team will be debating the 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Bothell Speech and Debate Society at an event beginning at 2:30 in the North Creek Events Center.
