IAS faculty members present at the 2015 Teaching and Learning Symposium

IAS faculty members presented at 2015 . Gary Carpenter, Deborah Jacoby, and Julie Shayne all presented in their capacity as Community Based Learning and Research Fellows. Carpenter’s project was titled “Arts of Social Transformation;” Jacoby’s was “Creative Engagement Through Community-Based Learning,” and Shayne’s was “Researching and Archiving Local Feminist Activism: A Pilot Assignment.” Rebecca Price also presented two different projects, “Photo-elicitation Celebrates Postdoctoral Success in Hit the Ground Running” and “Training Biomedical Postdocs in State-of-the-art Teaching Strategies.” Ursula Valdez presented her project “Intercultural Learning as an Opportunity to Solve Global Environmental Issues.”
