Ray Corona appointed to Seattle LGBT Commission

IAS congratulates alum Ray Corona (’13, Society, Ethics and Human Behavior) on his recent appointment to the . The Commission advises city staff and elected officials on issues concerning the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. Ray’s fervent commitment to advocacy extends to other groups, including undocumented students. In former roles as advocacy manager for the Latino Community Fund and student recruiter for 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Bothell, Ray advocated for fair and equitable policies. Ray currently works as a corporate recruiter for LandCare, bringing his expertise and personal experience as a diverse young professional to the commercial landscaping sector.
