Dan Berger Speaks on Black Radicals and the Law and Prison Organizing
Dan Berger participated in a roundtable on “Black Radicals and the Law” at the annual conference of the Organization of American Historians. During the conference, the OAH announced that Berger was appointed to the , a speaker’s bureau of the association’s leading scholars. Also that weekend, Berger delivered a talk at Brown University entitled “Prison Organizing Then and Now.” The lecture included responses from local organizers working with Direct Action for Rights and Equality (DARE), and Black and Pink.
