IAS faculty member Ching-In Chen spoke about the intersection of their activism, literary and academic engagement, and community building at the “Creative Politics, Political Poetics: An Ecology of Change” roundtable. Chen joined artists, writers, community organizers, curators, and scholars: Purvi Shah, Cathy Linh Che, Sejal Shah, and Lawrence-Minh B羅i Davis at the 2021 virtual conference. Panelists and audience members discussed what it means to activate language for change and how artists and writers can contribute to cross-racial organizing and solidarity.
