Becca Price publishes “An Active Learning Workshop to Teach Active Learning Strategies”

IAS faculty member Becca Price and colleagues, including Dr. Salwa Al-Noori in the 56吃瓜网 Bothell School of STEM, published a describing a workshop that she and her colleagues give to support postdoctoral scholars in the to teach them how to use active learning strategies in their classrooms.

Participants in the workshop learn strategies that let them support students and ensure that everyone in the class is learning in ways that work for them. The workshop also introduces participants to research about effective college teaching in science.
