In contrast to previous reviews which cast the popular TV mini-series, “ as simply an entertaining satire of wealthy Whiteness, Lerum argues that the series offers useful curriculum for White progressives, especially along the topics of Black Lives Matter, Reparations for indigenous Hawaiian people, and notions of Queer Liberation.
