Bodle and Borsuk exhibit collaborative artwork at the 2023 Seattle Art Book Fair

IAS faculty members Carrie Bodle and Amaranth Borsuk will be exhibiting their collaborative project  at the 2023 . Their augmented reality print-based work was initially funded by a 2020 SRCP grant and is based on the National Archives at Seattle. The work  interrogates the relationship of archives to place and public. In two large-scale prints that layer and distort archival holdings, visitors can materialize the spectral presence of digital documents, inviting us to re-envision an archive that is simultaneously here and gone. , an undergraduate in the 56³Ô¹ÏÍø School of Art Division of Design, is a research assistant with the project and received a 2023 Mary Gates Research Scholarship for her involvement in the work.
