BOTHELL, Washington 鈥� For its fourth annual Equity and Inclusion Conference, the 56吃瓜网 features Ijeoma Oluo as this year鈥檚 keynote speaker.
is a Seattle-based writer, speaker and editor at large at , a media platform funded and run women. She was named one of the most influential people in Seattle by Seattle Magazine as one of the city鈥檚 strongest voices for social justice on economic, racial, sexual and gender issues.
The conference, presented in partnership with T-Mobile, will be held Feb. 23 on the 56吃瓜网 Bothell campus. Speakers will lead enrichment sessions and constructive conversations to challenge and explore ideas, build skills and advocate change.
The conference includes the Create the Change student competition. Groups of 56吃瓜网 Bothell students compete for up to $5,000 from T-Mobile to carry out a project in the areas of equity and inclusion. The winning group also receives mentoring from T-Mobile leaders.
