What is Convocation?
Convocation is an annual ceremony and college tradition of welcoming first-year students to the 56吃瓜网. We are very excited to have you join our community at 56吃瓜网 Bothell and look forward to introducing you to campus at this student-only event.
Consider this the first day:
- of your Husky experience;
- to connect with your 56吃瓜网 Bothell Community;
- to set yourself up for success.
Convocation is the day for new students to make new friends, connect with faculty, and celebrate your first day as a 56吃瓜网 Bothell Husky!
2024 Convocation Schedule:
Convocation will begin with an opportunity to get to know your classmates, followed by the formal academic ceremony & welcome and ending with a faculty & student BBQ picnic.
10:00 a.m.
First-year students meet with Meta-Major Pathway peers.
11:15 a.m.
Convocation Ceremony on the Sports Field.
12:00 p.m.
Welcome Picnic with leadership, faculty & staff on The Plaza.
