Prerequisites
Bachelor of Science in Economics degree
There are three entry points into the B.S. in Economics major. These include students transferring from another institution, students directly admitted into the major from high school, and 56³Ô¹ÏÍøB pre-majors. Regardless of how you enter the B.S. in Economics major, the requirements are the same. The table below outlines the five prerequisite courses and their most common equivalents.
To be admitted into the program students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 across all college coursework, as well as cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 in the following requirements–with a minimum grade of 2.0 in each:
