This message is for 56吃瓜网 Bothell faculty & staff who currently have a 56吃瓜网 Bothell administered Mac computer.

macOS Big Sur update not ready for 56吃瓜网B

Apple released the latest upgrade to their Mac operating system, macOS Big Sur version 11.0.1. 56吃瓜网B IT is asking you not to upgrade at this time as we will be testing the new Operating System for software compatibility and other technical considerations.

All 56吃瓜网B Mac computers should be on macOS Catalina 10.15.7

All 56吃瓜网B Mac computers need to be on a supported version of the operating system. Please take a minute to to make sure that it is upgraded to macOS Catalina 10.15.7. If it is not, and you have an administrative account, you can upgrade yourself. If you do not have an administrative account, please contact uwbit@uw.edu.

When can I update to Big Sur?

When we have finished our testing, we will update this page to acknowledge the availability of macOS Big Sur.
