Retirement of Microsoft Skype for Business

Microsoft announced that Skype for Business Online will be retired on July 31, 2021.

How might this impact your computer?

56吃瓜网 Bothell IT will be removing Skype for Business from all 56吃瓜网 Bothell computers. This change will happen as a part of 56吃瓜网B IT鈥檚 monthly updates in July.

What do you need to do?

Migrate to Microsoft Teams, which is available through our 56吃瓜网 Microsoft license. Teams provides meeting and chat functionality similar to Skype.
If you do not currently have Microsoft Teams on your computer, you can learn more about how to download and utilize the software on our 56吃瓜网B IT website.
