Alum鈥檚 business destroyed in blast
The Mr. Gyros shop owned by 56吃瓜网 alum Sammy Arsheed – also the operator of a popular food truck on campus -- was one of the businesses destroyed in an early-morning natural gas explosion Wednesday in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood. Seattle neighbors and friends from 56吃瓜网 Bothell are offering support, including pages set up at fundly.com.

T-Mobile partners for $5,000 diversity grant
High school and college students in Washington could win a grant of up to $5,000 and mentoring from T-Mobile to complete a project aimed at solving a diversity issue. Students may apply by March 21 by posting a 3-to-5 minute video on the 56吃瓜网 Bothell Facebook page. T-Mobile is partnering with the 56吃瓜网’s Diversity and Inclusion Conference.

Students compete in analyst competition
A team of three 56吃瓜网 business students finished high in the annual competition organized by the Chartered Financial Analysts Society of Seattle. The competition with five other schools came down to three finalists. The 56吃瓜网 team finished second, continuing a tradition of strong showings.
