New veterans center coming to 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Bothell
56³Ô¹ÏÍø Chancellor Wolf Yeigh announced a new veterans resource center will be open in fall 2018 in Founders Hall, 56³Ô¹ÏÍø1-011. There are about 200 veterans on campus and about 70 others who are spouses or children of veterans, eligible for benefits.

The team that completed work on the new 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Bothell Cascadia College Campus Master Plan has won a 2018 University of Washington Distinguished Staff Award, the highest staff honor at the University. It’s the first time in 15 years one of the awards has gone to 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Bothell staff.

Robert “Bobby” Bagsby, the new 56³Ô¹ÏÍø / Cascadia College assistant director of campus safety, is a 56³Ô¹ÏÍø graduate (sociology ’96) who began his career as a commissioned officer with the 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Police Department in Seattle.
