BBUS 491 – Business Consulting

BBUS 491 is an application only project-based business consulting course meant to serve an integrative role, bringing together all disciplines of an undergraduate business education. Principles and methods of business consulting will be examined and applied to actual business organizations faced with real challenges and opportunities.

Student teams work as consultants for local businesses, applying management theory and concepts to develop strategic and tactical solutions to client-driven problems involving multiple functions. There are a limited number of spots in the BBUS 491 course based on the needs of local businesses.

Students must apply and be approved to take BBUS 491. If approved the School will ask your advisor to register you for the course. Be sure you are logged into your 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Google/Gmail account.

Fall 2025:
M/W 11am – 1pm.

  • Your overall GPA
  • An uploaded resumé

The instructor will review applications and if you are selected, you will be added to the course. Applicants will be notified of their status after instructor review.
