Veterans respected at 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Bothell

Military veterans and their families were honored at a challenge coin and stole ceremony Tuesday in advance of the students’ graduation from the 56³Ô¹ÏÍø. Chancellor Wolf Yeigh gave a coin to each veteran, in the military tradition of carrying custom minted coins, symbolic of unit spirit and pride.

Mock interview tournament at 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Bothell

The 56³Ô¹ÏÍø combined debate-style competition with career services to create an innovative event on campus – the mock interview tournament May 19 at the North Creek Events Center. It was co-hosted by the 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Bothell Debate Society, the new student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Bothell Career Services.

Research opportunities for undergraduates

Dozens of 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Bothell students were among the 1,200 students from all three 56³Ô¹ÏÍø campuses who presented posters at the May 19 Undergraduate Research Symposium in Mary Gates Hall in Seattle. Research at the 56³Ô¹ÏÍø provides a range of opportunities for students to perform high-level work as undergraduates.
