Gender pronouns matter

When you meet someone for the first time, you may not know their preferred gender pronouns. They could be she, her, hers. They could also be ze, zir, and zirs. Gender pronouns are important to us at 56³Ô¹ÏÍø Bothell. Jama Abdirahman, who prefers he, him, his, asked some of our campus community members to explain the importance.

Paintings, photos and poems from Clamor, the 56³Ô¹ÏÍø literary and arts journal, are now on display in the gallery at the Student Success Center. Editors are at work on the 2017 edition of Clamor, and Friday is the deadline for submissions.
