A total of 5,995 students have enrolled at 56吃瓜网 Bothell for the 2017-18 academic year. Of about 1,600 incoming first-year students and transfers, nearly half would be the first in their families to earn a four-year degree.

Veteran alumnus on State Department fellowship
Thanks to a timely notice from 56吃瓜网 Bothell, Ryan Dzakovic won a Veterans Innovation Partnership fellowship for a year-long position with the State Department’s Office of Global Partnerships in Washington, D.C. Dzakovic (master’s cultural studies ’15) is an Army reservist who served in Iraq and Uganda.

Sen. Maria Cantwell is participating in a symposium on cybersecurity Nov. 17 at the 56吃瓜网 in Discovery Hall. The symposium brings together experts from the government, private sector, utilities, military and academia to discuss defense against cyber-attacks.
